Chapter 81: Visiting Everywhere

Emlyn’s gaze instinctively turned toward the tall stool on the other side of the room, and he saw that “exquisite doll.”
In his eyes immediately surfaced a mixture of amazement, admiration, and fervor. His mouth opened, and he nearly blurted out a question: where could such a doll be bought, and which master had created her?
However, he had long since reached adulthood and had experienced many things. He understood very well that raising such a question on an occasion like this would be exceedingly impolite, so he decided to wait until the serious matters had been discussed, then find an opportunity to ask.
Sharron’s brows furrowed almost imperceptibly. Her body floated upward, and she bowed to Reinette Tinekerr and Sherlock Moriarty.
“No need for greetings,” Klein said succinctly. “Our preliminary plan is this…”
He described the key points of the plan: he would use a historical projection to step into the trap on purpose, drawing the Rose School of Thought’s attention.
Wearing her black soft hat, Sharron quietly listened. Then, in her faintly drifting voice, she said, “They may not take the bait.
“Once they discover that the attacker is you, that Witch King may very well choose to retreat under the protection of a sealed artifact or angel.”
In that case, they would only manage to tie down part of the Rose School of Thought’s forces.
Before Klein and Emlyn could respond, Reinette Tinekerr’s four heads spoke one after another at a rather quick pace:
“Their…” “main…” “target…” “should…” “be…” “me…”
Emlyn was somewhat confused listening to this, but he could roughly tell that the spirit world creature summoned by Gehrman Sparrow had quite a high status and was closely connected to the Rose School of Thought’s temperance faction.
That is true… Even if the Mother Tree values me, a trap arranged like this is most likely meant to draw in Miss Messenger… Klein pondered briefly, then gave a supplementary proposal.
“Madam, you and I will attack the other Witch King together, in the form of historical projections.”
…Gehrman Sparrow is very respectful toward this spirit world creature… No sooner had that thought flashed through Emlyn’s mind than the eight eyes on the four heads all swept toward him at the same time.
He shuddered for no obvious reason and instinctively joined the discussion.
“Can this deceive the Rose School of Thought?”
Since Klein had brought it up, he had naturally already considered the corresponding method.
“I have an item I can lend Madam Tinekerr.”
At this point, he looked at Reinette Tinekerr and said, “That item can reproduce the Beyonder powers that surface in your mind.
“I hope you can use it to summon your past self, then have your main body enter a concealed state and inject your consciousness into the projection. This way, the Rose School of Thought will be unable to discover the abnormality in a short period of time. They will very likely take the bait and concentrate their forces to encircle you and me, giving Miss Sharron, Emlyn, and the others a chance to strike.
“If they are more cautious than I imagine…”
Klein paused, then revealed a faint smile.
“In that brief opening, you at your peak condition and I working together have a chance to forcefully kill one Witch King even under sealed-artifact protection.
“The key point now is whether you understand the Beyonder powers of summoning historical projections and entering a concealed state well enough.
“I can demonstrate the former for you. As for the latter, I will think of a way.”
Reinette Tinekerr’s four heads nodded up and down at the same time.
“I…” “can…” “No…” “problem…”
“That is the general direction. You can determine the detailed issues among yourselves over the next few days.” Klein silently estimated the time and kept his manner brief.
Sharron nodded almost invisibly and said, “The most important remaining matter is intelligence. Teacher can provide part of it. For the rest, we can…
